Do the Asus video cards require their version of the nVidia drivers or will the regular nVidia drivers work? The reason i ask is because when i go to re-install the video drivers on a fresh install, the regular nVidia drivers can not find the hardware, but the Asus ones work. So im guessing that its proprietary software?

Asus does not make their own drivers. Make sure to get the latest nvidia set. They are dated 9/14/06

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.47.html

# Adds support for NVIDIA Quad SLI, GeForce 7950 GT, GeForce 7600 GS AGP and GeForce 7100 GS.

are you sure you download the ones dated 9/14? there were 2 releases of the 91.47s.

Asus doesn't make their own drivers. if anything it's a modified .inf file. what driver set does it say in the device manager when you use the asus drivers?

I "think" some games cant run SLI, try disabling SLI mode when you play those games to see if it solves your problem

I replaced my motherboard with a Abit KN8 SLi board and now everything is stable, i might have had a bad board.

i recieved a reply back from Asus, aparently there is a bios update for my video cards. Now i got flash both my cards with the new bios, which hopefully fixes the issues.
