Just a thought, but maybe it is time to update the forum descriptions on SysOpt...
Discuss any software apps, plus OS's: Win98/95, WinNT, Win2k, WinXP,Linux, BeOS, etc.
Aside from the grammatical error in this (no space after the comma after WinXP), I think we can remove Win 95, maybe include Vista
Discuss 2D cards, 3D accelerators, and monitors.
2D cards? Yeah...maybe its time to leave 1998 behind. :) What about something saying this is where you can discuss Nvidia, ATi, CRTs, and LCDs?
Discuss hard drives, CD-ROM/CD-RW/CD-R, other removable, and misc. storage topics.
Nothing in here about DVD media which has been around for quite some time now...
Discuss benchmarking, post your results, 3DMark 2000/2001, Sandra, all others.
3DMark2000? Again, this is 2006! :)
Discuss the RC5-64 effort, distributed.net, SETI@Home and other projects.
Isn't RC5-64 long dead? What about folding@home, einstein@home?
What do you say, time to shake the cobwebs off, SysOpt? ;)

When was the last time you heard of someone buying a 2D video card, installing Windows 95, or running 3DMark2000 to benchmark their system? ;)

The changes weren't made, apparently we have to cater to the 300 people still running Windows 95 as opposed to the ~50,000 people viewing this website who have "gotten with the times".
