A friend of mine just got a new Gateway 500 performance machine so we don't understand why the error "not Win32 application" comes up when she tries to run a little executable file called "Elf Bowling."
Any ideas/suggestions would be welcome.

Before you do the big freak, check out this thread... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/002863.html
Edit: ALWAYS good idea to do an up-to-date AV scan of a file before you execute - especially from a d/l or attachment! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

No, that virus rumor was a hoax. Symantec experts prove that this is just a hoax. Please visit the following link http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/y2kgame.hoax.html
