Keep in mind that "government/law officials" have put some these Proxy Servers out for the purpose of tracking criminal activity. ;)

I use a combination of Tor, Privoxy and The Proxomitron when I want to surf anonymously. I don't really care if the elite proxy I hook up to is going to try and track me; I just don't want the sites I go to, to know where I'm coming from.
