HELP ME! I keep getting VxD errors all of a sudden. This blue screen pops out when I'm playing Starcraft: Brood War, and it says Vxd VMM32 and VXD cache. It usually happens when I hit ALT+TAB. But sometimes it just happens right before it loads into the game! It happened also when I tried to play a game on BLEEM! playstation emulator. It minimizes and restores the window a lot in BLEEM when it's setting up the graphics. And I get the blue screen! I seem to have no trouble with every normal task in windows. I think it might be only in games. But I play Starcraft a lot so I see it a lot with it. I have:

AMD K6-2 400mhz
Soyo 5EMA+
64 MB PC100 RAM
Diamond Viper V770 32 MB video card
33.6 ISA modem
Diamond Monster Sound II MX300
1MB motherboard cache
Western Digital 8.4 gig HD

At first I thought it was directX 7, so I formatted and reinstalled the whole comp and installed DX6.1, but it didn't help. This problem used to happen frequently on my old 90mhz computer, NOW IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN! I spent a lot of time building this computer, and expected peaceful playing! It's about a year since I built this computer. When I first built it, it was fine. Please help, thank you.

email me here: arw3z@hotmail.com if you want to know the exact error message.

Did you transfer anything from your old computer to your new one? Maybe a defective piece of hardware has been haunting you all this time.
