just watched the GC demo footage whish is 14 minutes long and all i can say is:

WOOOOW
how amazing is this game? the graphic is so beautiful and you can do everything you want, the game is so open and its cool that you can mofiy everything, even yourself

Wowie Wowie is right.... just from the very nice ingame clip there, this game is going to be huge.. Just when you think we already exhausted up most of the gaming world creative juices, something like this comes along.... I loved it.
( how cut is the little bloodusucking scavenger girl anyways... hahah! )
definitely some good graphics and details... nicely done original concepts....

Ok.. I guess i will have to start making a new game list after all.. thats like five games i want to have for sure.. and this is one of them... might even move this to the top of the list.. good bet! LOL

there is only one thing i dont like, the movement
its very very slow, i hope they just had " always walk " on or something like that, if this is the " normal " speed: )-|

and the graphic is from the xbox360 i think because in the menu you can see " X, Y and B " and i think that are the xbox buttons

Jak.. i 'm sitting here very early in the AM and I went back into the forum site you showed as a link above and i'm laughing like H... pretty intertaining reading some of the youngins bantor. The one guy says it looks real scary ...and the other guy says.. this isn't scary at all.. ,which i agree.... Shoot.. I still think D3 was the scariest game so far... I never played System Shock 1 or 2..so???

GN.. why do you think its so slow? not every game is meant to be played at a full tilt adrenaline rush... hard to tell, because ususlly gaming clips do not show the games true colors ( metaphor ). The guy was just showing us the game... so take that into account. Graphics also so not show up well in relayed clips either.

Hopefully, this comes to PC.. haven't read enough about this game to know.. did look kinda Xbox360 though..

System Shock 2: Cyborg Midwifes = Cack Your Pants

I'd expect similar horror elements in Bioshock, elements which should hopefully be a lot more inventive than the "ooh, a baddie hidden behind an invisible box" approach seen in Doom 3

While some get all caught up in whether somethng like this is scary.., i still laughed when viewing the video clip... Alot of these type games make me laugh, due to the over emphasized blood effects.. That screenie up close shows blood like if it were enough for twenty creatures of any sort... kind of overkill for sake of entertainment i guess.
Still, I don't mean to sound like some old fuddy duddy , but it desturbs me some that the violent content is being overdubbed and overkill more and more.... Like "lets see if we can make some new game with more blood and more gore.
beyond a certain point it becomes mundane and absurd to say the least....

"Just hope the kids playing this ..don't turn into another Micheal Meyers... ala de farce Halloween..." I'm 54, so i know better...LOL

i dont THINK its slow, it just IS :)

i mean ok, he is walking whish is realistic, and its like in all other games when you walk
but in most fps you never use the walk function and i personally dont like it too
and in the movie it looks like if the walk function is standard and you cant sprint, just with the sprint boost

I guess we won't know until the game or demo is released.. will we?? Maybe in some way they might have some info from the game maker to show what controls they use.. or.. maybe you could write and ask them personally..
