I have an epson stylus color 2 S that seems to have a clogged yellow ink jet. i've replaced the catridge and blew out the needle valve, but the ink still won't flow to the print head..i've also run the heads thru numerous color head cleaning cycles..does anyone have any ideas on this
TIA

There was a discussion in the general forum about best Photo Quality Printer recently and I posted my experiences with my old Epson printer.
Unfortunately, when the print heads get clogged, there is not much you can do except put it in for service.
It will probably cost more for repairs than it would be to get a whole new unit because after one does the servicing and then buys new cartidges, that's a whole lot of $.
The Epsons cartridges are used with suction, so once they are removed, they cannot be put back into the machine because the suction is broken.

I've never heard of a "2-S" Epson, but I have a 600.My black print was spotty and after about 12 cleanings it finally cleared up.Epson's are great printers if you use them regularly. If not, the heads will clog to the point of replacement and after that you might as well buy another printer( their heads are expensive!).....DawgTuff.
