Computer HP keeps rebooting over and over....

Please help. It has been suggested to me that this is called looping. What do I need to do and what caused this to happen?

I presume you are running windows 95/98.

Try booting into safe mode have a look and see whats being loaded at start up and do a aselective start up by going into msconfig.

i seem to recall that one problem similar
is that the msdos.sys file is looking to
start up a compressed drive and its not
finding it...use a text editor to check
the contents.....theres also help avail
