Please help. It has been suggested to me that this is called looping. What do I need to do and what caused this to happen?

Try booting into safe mode have a look and see whats being loaded at start up and do a aselective start up by going into msconfig. digital_rat 12-14-1999, 06:26 AM i seem to recall that one problem similar is that the msdos.sys file is looking to start up a compressed drive and its not finding it...use a text editor to check the contents.....theres also help avail on the microsoft web site SysOpt.com
