Well while the files you copy from the DVD aren't bigger than the 650MB the CD-r can hold just burn parts of it on several CD-r.

Now if they are movies you'll need a ripper and then burn the movie... or use a DVD-RAM... now this is illegal stuff!

..Cant..DVD's are 5200MBs in size and CD-rs are usually 650MBs (about 700MBs in size at most).

EDIT -

I believe the ripper itself is an illegal App (and you have to rip it before u redistribute it on several CDr's if you do this)

Practically, u cant, but if its even possible, it would be real complicated.

Well I have ripped a couple of DVD movies to check if the app really worked and it did, but they were 1GB each section... the complete Blair Witch Project would have been around 3-4GB. But they were .vob format and making mpeg or asf will bring it something that fits on a CD-r.

Don't do it! It's illegal! I just tried to see if it worked so don't even think of doing it.
