A girl here at work dropped her laptop, it would not boot up any more.
Tried to do a windows repair, it said the drive was not formated. tried to do a windows install, it said the drive was not formated.
Ok, so I pulled the drive out and slaved it into my computer and it was spinning up. I run "GetDataBack" on it it read throug all the sectors and found nothing.
So I made an image of the drive and loaded it on to a new drive (file size 5.4 gigs), and scanned it again with "GetDataBack", still no files.
Double clicked on the drive, it said it was not formated. Ready to give up unless anyone has any ideas.
