I am having 32MB ram but it shows
0 XMS memory. what to do?

First of all, a little more info. System specs as far as motherboard and operatings system. I see you are having cdrom probs, so just give total system specs.

Now, a question. Does your bios show ram detected when you start up, does your operating system, or do neither?

Maybe when we get this info, we can help you out!
