About every other time that I dial up the internet, my mouse starts blinking rapidly, and msgsrv32 comes up as "not responding". What the heck is this?? I've had this problem before, but I can't remember any kind of fix for it. I may have gone to a generic modem driver..but I don't remmeber. What is msgsrv32 and any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks

If you are using Win98 or Win98SE you can let windows try to replace the file with another... it may have some problem or another file related to it.

Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information.
Tools, Version Conflict Manager. If there are any files that have been replaced with earlier versions of themselves, they show up here, and offer to let you install the "newer" ones. When done here, click on the "X" to close.

Then click on tool, system file checker. Select scan for altered files. Follow the prompts.

Finally, close that. Then click on tools, registry checker. If that finds no problems, then your WinDOZE is most likely cool.

Did you try the new startup disk yet?

Hope all gets back to norm for you...
