Well, I just recently upgraded from a Athlon 64 3000+ @ 2.3GHz to a P4E 3.4GHz and then decided to up my storage while I was at it. :)

What RAID are you using?

Software RAID 0 or 1 is worthless if a drive crashes. You need RAID5 hardware RAID for fail safe protection.

I am using an Escalade 7000 series IDE controller and RAID 5. I am using 5 300GB WD3000JB-00KFA0 IDE Drives. 7200RPM 8MB Cache

Thanks for the headup. I remember you stated this before. Im using raid 0 but only for fun, for experience, just to see what it's like:) For sure I wouldn't want to use it for anything critical.:)
