The days of Intel and Crossfire are numbered, since AMD now owns ATI. Not sure if you want to go down that road.

good point :p but wouldnt they sell more by makeing boards for both companys ?
since it looks like conroe will own the cpu market for at least a year they will probably be makeing most of their income from crossfire boards until they come up with something to counter the conroe

That's the mobo I got 2 weeks ago. As the multies are locked on my E6300, the overclocking functions in the BIOS are limited, I can only get a max of 30%, from 1.86 to 2.4. But using ClockGen in Windoze I am running 24/7 now at 2.92! Even under full load CPU never gets above 45c, and it is warm here now. Only thing is the passive cooling on the chipset. Sucker can get to 50c no problem. The board comes with a small fan you can install on it, meant to be used when you have passive cooling on the CPU. They warn you not to use the fan if you have active cooling. I have a Zalman 9000 on the CPU so I installed a 80mm fan on the back of the case that blows over the fins on the cooler for the chipset. Now my temps stay close to my CPU temps.
As to the rest of the board, the sound is great and all the extras such as the built in WiFi are excellent. Only downside is only 2 EIDE drives. But with all the SATA and SATA2 connections, no big deal. I am very happy with it.

Since this board ALSO runs Nvidia based cards, if you're only running one card, this purchase is no big deal right now. For down the road, perhaps. It is the board I will probably buy at this point in time.
