Hey, I keep getting these dumb e-mails about programs that will keep your ISP from booting you off during downloads. Does anyone know where you can get this free?

Gentle Giant 10-09-1999, 03:07 AM http://www.winfiles.com/apps/98/keepalive.html This here is a wonderfull program: http://www.blackcastlesoft.com/netlaunch/index.html Bob-NB 10-09-1999, 03:44 AM You can also go into the options in your e-mail program and set it to check your e-mail every 10 minutes. This works very well under most circumstances. daveleau 10-11-1999, 10:53 AM Thanks Gentle Giant! jojjoj 10-13-1999, 02:22 AM u can also use IRC to stay alive. alondra 10-13-1999, 03:28 AM I think your first stop should be the back of the ISP that is doing this to you Susan 10-13-1999, 09:05 AM I don't get the Auto disconnect message since I started dialing in through my Dial-Up Networking Connection and then open up my browser (Netscape).
