I need to find the software or this good deal will end up being an expensive door stop. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP codybear 12-06-1999, 06:32 PM go look at HP's web site for it..dont know if its there but thats where I'd start.. http://infoseek.go.com/?win=_search&sv=M6&lk=noframes&nh=10&ud9=IE5&qt=hewlett+packard&oq=&url=http%3A//www.hp.com/cposupport/eschome.html&ti=HP+Electronic+Support+Center&top=17625 jman01pa 12-06-1999, 07:36 PM I have a 7110i and had lost my software disk. I tried to find it and HP does not have the full version available for download only upgrades from the orignal. I have since found it and am up and running. If you think the 7110i software will work on yours I will be happy to send you a copy. You also must have a serial number or registration number to load the software. Let me know. You will need to register- free - jnas 12-07-1999, 05:12 PM I went to the hp website and as mentioned above I also found no full version driver only upgrades Im not sure if any other driver will work but thanks for the offer. I also need to know how to determine if it is a 7200e or a 7200i. it doesn't say anywhere NavyDood_ F/A18_Mech 12-07-1999, 05:25 PM The 7200e is External The 7200i is Internal Jim beanman 12-08-1999, 04:05 AM I have a 7200i internal drive. If you are using win98 it will size it and install the driver for you. It works just fine. I suggest setting it up as the master drive on your secondary IDE channel. Merry Christmas jnas 12-08-1999, 05:00 PM thanks for the info but mine is an external using a parallel port. I found the startup driver but now it asks for disk one which i don't have. Nathan G 12-08-1999, 05:40 PM I may be very wrong on this soo... I had a external p. port cd-rw i had borrowed from work.. no driver disk avail, after hours of cursing about the fact windows kept asking for a driver :0 ,,,someone told me to just install the Adaptec Program, CD-Creator (what we were using old version). And it quit asking for the damb drivers and all was good ! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif You may want to try it... umm sounds kinda silly , i know... reddog4629 12-08-1999, 06:43 PM Hey jnas-check your mail. You'll still might need something like Adaptec Easy Cd Creator I think.
