I just got an MSI NX6800GT. When I plug it into my Asus P4C800-E Deluxe MB and boot my system I get a screenful of colored static, then colored blocks. The computer boots up fine but the display is completely FUBAR.

I have a 430W Antec power supply. I tried disconnecting everything from one of the multileads (there are no single leads from the power supply) and plugging just the card into the line. Still the same problem. I tried updating my BIOS. I tried everything I can think of but I cannot make this card work.

Anyone have any suggestions?

The card is caput?

I think an RMA is inorder. Call MSI and have them ship you a new one. That's going to be the easiest way to fix this.

Also, make sure the card is fully seated into the PCI-E slot (I assume it's a PCI-express card) :t

EDIT: 1000 posts!!! WOOT!! I'M 1337 NOW! :D

Sorry, forgot to mention it's AGP.

I figure after trying all that it's probably a dead card. I was just hoping it was something simple to fix.
