I have both a WD 8.4 and Maxtor 4.3 that I am trying to format and one says it has an operating system on it even though I formatted and repartitioned the drive and the other one hangs when I do easy drive. What is the best way to format and re-partition these drive? I have the EZ-drive software for both and they don't work!

If the problem is due to EZ-Drive or any other similar program read this post COMPLETELY!!! I know it's long but it will help you to remove those things.
