Wonder how many gamers are going to preload this game which free to play Aug.2 - Aug. 7th. I already preloaded mine..and quite frankly, i think for once i am looking forward to something new. I think it will be kind of a wartime FPS with teams.

Its gets old me saying it but if not for monies.., I need to get about three other online games from them.... All I play is CSS and have ot DL'ed some others i get for free and past HL games I have. ( Still want DOD Source ) ;)

You should try DOD:S, Rabbit, I think you'll like it. :)

That being said, I might try out Red Orchestra, it looks like it could be fun.

Red Orchestra is lots of fun but very different from most FPS and definitely not for everyone. Very slow paced, very strategic and one shot=kill. Run and gun is a guaranteed death in very short order. It is designed to be pretty realistic.

Yeah.. i know i'll get DOD Source sooner than later . I actaully preordered it originally, then one of my Credit cards had a error in open balance and I was nullified... This meant they would not accept another but.... ; Old news

The problem i have is I no longer have any viable C.C.'s that are any good. I owe too much money from some past debt... This means i have to go to a retailer and buy the game.., which basicly amounts to like paying $3.00 more for the same thing.

Red Orchestra being a more slower and stealth game is actaully something i am fond of... meaning i like when you have to use your brain and strategy more , rather than run and gun. We already have that for CSS and others don't we??

i played red orchestra when it first came out as UT2k4 mod ages ago, it was really bad but has definately come along way since then, i dont see the point in paying the 25 dollars when you can just download the mod because i know most of you own ut2k4
