Hey I formated my c: drive and I now can't get to the c: prompt to install windows. It keeps saying invalid system disk even though there is nothing in the flopy drive. All the connections are good to the hard drive. I put in a boot disk and that doesn't change the error either. Anything would be helpful.

You need to put the bootable system files on the drive.
Boot to your floppy and then type sys c:

What coomand did you use to format the drive, also do you have access to another system to check out the boot disk, or perhaps some older dos disk 6.2 or something.
can you even get to the BIOS.

Kenny, if your formatted your C:\ drive, then you basically wiped that baby clean. You go on to state that you get an invalid system disk error message, even though there is nothing in the floppy drive.
This is perfectly normal because there are no system files on your C:\ drive anymore......so if you don't boot to a floppy that has them, you will not be able to access the C:\ drive.
You have two choices. Follow Susan's advice to place the system files on your C:\ drive, OR simply boot with a bootable floppy diskette that has them. That will give you access to your C:\ drive
As for your boot diskette not working either, Follow what Welsh Wizard said and double check your bootable floppy diskette to make sure it has all the system files.
You might also want to check your bios settings to see what the boot sequence is. Most people will use some combination of --> Floppy, Hard-disk, CDROM, SCSI. If yours is set so that the Floppy is NOT a boot-up option, this could also be part of the issue with not being able to boot up with a diskette.
