Someone wants to sell me a computer for $350 dollars sold AS IS And working. I was wondering if its worth the price. here is the specs:
AST 133 Intel Pentium
16 Megs of Ram
1.6 Gig HDD
8X CDROM
56k Modem
15 inch color monitor
With:
Microsoft Windows 95
Lotos96 SmartSuite
And alot of other software, and comes with Mouse and Keyboard. Thanks!

In June from ValueAmerica, I got a Proteva AMD-366, 64RAM, 3.2hd, Win98 and 21software junx, s/h, $366.00. For my g/f. In Oct, same place got a IBM amd475, 64ram, 13.2 7200rpm hd, s/h $574.00. shop around, don't hurry

Doesn't sound like any deal. Believe me, if you buy this and use it much at all you will be dissapointed.
Take your time, do some research -- use the web resources like SYSOPT - make sure what buy will suit your needs for a couple years.

Oh, and go AMD.

The 166 would be just fine as a Internet surfing machine but would be lacking when you start gaming and using prossessor intensive programs. Such as Photo Editing and such.

Just to let you know I 'm selling 4 Compaq 5100's that are Intel pent100's 1.6 gig HD Soundcard, Floppy, 4-8x CD-roms in them and running Win95 that I,m selling for 100 bucks without a monitor but with keyboard and mouse. $350 is high even if it includes a monitor.
