What makes you think that the processor will work? The Intel 866Mhz CPUs are called "Coppermine" (CuMine) and will not work in normal Pentium 3 motherboards. In addition, the 833MHz requires a 133MHz front side bus and your motherboard is probably limited to 100Mhz.

Your motherboard is essentially limited to a maximum of 650MHz Pentium 3.

BPB is correct.

Your BIOS supports CPUs in 50 MHz increments because it is running at 100 MHz FSB.

The 866 MHz CPU runs at 133 MHz FSB and does not appear to be supported by your system board according to the system board manual you posted. It stops at 800 MHz at 100 MHz FSB. There is no mention of any 133 MHz FSB support at all.

Time to buy a new system board or a different CPU.

you have a 440BX chipset board. 100 or 66MHz FSB only. the 133 chip won't work.
