Excavator 12-06-1999, 11:57 AM If your running win 95or98 you need to go to your control panel and add new hardware & follow the instuctions Axel 12-07-1999, 12:17 AM did you go through set-up in your CMOS settings and identify the drive? Did you jumper the drive to be 'slave' and make sure your primary HD is jumpered for 'Master' - probably not the problem, but worth checking. Small chance it's your IDE cable, unless you have a SCSI set-up. If it's a SCSI, have you already used that drive number on your chain and is the chain properly terminated? if you are using win95, and it's a larger drive over 2.1GB, did you install the disk overlays? Have you ever used an EZ product when setting up the first drive? - Check other threads on this board for a fix on how to uninstall the EZ software. Except for a broken drive, that's all that really comes to mind. SysOpt.com
