I'm trying to put together a system from parts and carcasses laying around the house and I've come across what looks like a neat feature.

I have a carcass that has a PC100 BXPro motherboard, (I think it's an M747), and it has what appears to be BOTH AT and ATX connectors on the motherboard.

Am I seeing things or is that possible? Do I just plug one in and see or do I need to do something before deciding on which type to use?

AT and ATX power on the same board was quite common around 1996-1997.

Cool. Thanks. It works like a charm.

Yes, the final round of boards in BAT form factor had alternate power connectors for ATX cases - just like the first round of ATX cases had mounting holes and alternate I/O faceplate for BAT mainboards. What you have there is witness to transitional times :)

Make sure the board has figured out what type of power supply it's being run on. (It tells you on the POST screen if I remember correctly).
