Lots of people are concerned that it sounds like theyve taken most of the original and interesting elements out of it (NPC's completing objectives etc). If you ask me, its gonna have to be something mindblowing, because newer and bigger things have simply overshadowed any anticipation i might have had for it

I wouldn't get too worried. I read all of the review there, and from what i read the changes that are being made seem to be ones with a sensible approach, giving the game player a good overall gameplay experiece.

I'm as pessimistic as the next guy, but the game still sounds good and looks good from what i've seen. Still, I am sure most of us hard core gamers will pick it up once released...

The bar has been set with game developers like Crytek and Valve among others, and its good to know that instead of the same ole thing.., which in some cases is not all bad, we are going to be able to look forward to new and exciting storylines and locales , and enhanced gameplay.

Is Crysis going to be released sooner than later???

Ever since F.E.A.R. and FarCry... I have been patiently waiting for another good game to equal those two in some way... as they are the best of the best. ( HL2 also ) LOL

On the basis of what i've seen thus far, i'd anticipate that if it all stayed on schedule we'll probably see Crysis around Q4 2006/Q1 2007
