Is there anyway I can get my sblive x-gamer to work in win2k? I've tryed the newest 9x and nt drivers and they don't work. Could I maybe install it as a different card like a awe64...or a sb16/32 compatable?

Oh, I just rememberd, I have my old awe64 laying around.....my system is a dual boot 98/2k...can I have both the sblive (for 98) and awe64 (2k) in there at the same time?

Thanks, I tried it and got an awful screeching sound out of the awe64 in 2k. I checked for conflicts and there were none. Oh well, I guess I don't really NEED sound in 2k just yet.

What version of Win2k have you got, I had Beta 3, with NO SBlive support.

I now have RC1 which comes with SB Support and Voodoo3 support http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

It's build 2151. Ha whatever that is. I'm not really in a position where I can choose what version I'm running...I kinda just found it laying around and thought I'd give it a go. You know, so when it comes out there will be no surprises. Is there anyway I can update my version? Or get the sblive drivers from microsoft? (online)
