Want to know if anyone has tried a P.IV EE 955 in a Gigabyte 8i955X-PRO/Royal MB?

Hello,

I want to know if anyone has tried using a Pentium IV EE 955 (Dual-core 1066MHz FSB) in a Gigabyte 8i955X-PRO/Royal MB?

According to Gigabytes site, it's not supported. However, I bought the board pretty much with the assumption that it would be.

I'm not so interested in theories as whether anyone has actually had such a configuration.

If it works, I'd love to use it. If not, I'll have to slip back to 2nd best.
