What is the difference between pc100 & pc133 memory?
i have 2x 256mb strips of pc100 memory, will it make any difference if i change them to 2 x 256mb @ pc133, will it make my pc any faster?

many manufacturer's label high density memory as PC133, though that is technically incorrect.

Even if you can get the ram to run at 133MHz, the speed difference wouldn't be that noticeable. Save your money for a new system.

Not every system can run both. Some will only run one, while others will only run the other speed. You can't mix and match speeds either.

It won't make the PC any faster. All it will do is give you more headroom for overclocking.

funny thing is... 133 FSB RAM are always cheaper than 100 FSB RAM :r

Because they ramped up production and made a lot more PC133 than they ever made of PC100.
