computer will not boot(fdisk dont work)

I added a hd to my existing hard drive and now neither hd will boot up to windows,I get operating sys not found,can someone help me out.My comp will not even run the master restore cd,this happened once before and a guy took a floppy and restored the hd so I could run the master recovery cd,but I can;t remeber what he did,,,,help,help computer stuck

Check your cable(s), both ends. If either end is loose, the IDE will not see the drives.

also during start up go into bios (hit delete )and make sure your original hd is set for primary , if not you my have the jumpers wrong ..your origanal drive should be jumpered for master and the new one should be slave. hope it helps
