The official release is at www.ati.com
I would post a driver link but ATI tends to kill those. ;)

They are fine until I activate crossfire, then tearing out the wazoo. 3Dmark looks like total carp, tearing so bad it sucks. Yeah, ny scores are higher but...........what good are scores if you can't see WTH is going on? Back to the 6.4's for me. I hate that I bought top end cards and ATI doesn't seem to support them. Granted my x1800xt crossfire isn't the best they sell anymore, but 6 months ago it was the tops. It isn't my mobo, I run an Asus A8RMVP-Deluxe. It isn't my ram, 2 gig of OCZ gamer gold DDR 500. It is ATI's drivers period!! I have to run old drivers or drop out of crossfire. It isn't my PSU, I am running an enermax 620 watt. It is the catalyst drivers. pandaz3 06-28-2006, 01:38 AM I guess it worked okay on my AGP X800 Pro, not seeing any problems. BlackTruckRyder 06-28-2006, 01:44 AM I guess it worked okay on my AGP X800 Pro, not seeing any problems. No problems here. I'm on an X800 GTO :t BadDriver 06-28-2006, 02:34 PM They are fine here until I activate crossfire. I mean without crossfire they are good but............as soon as I turn it on, pfffffft. No biggie, there always seem to be drivers I can't use. I couldn't update the drivers on my 6800GT for about three months once. I have no idea what set it is running now because that is the kids' machine and as long as it works, who cares? There hasn't been a new game installed on it forever and a day. ;) pandaz3 06-28-2006, 03:11 PM I got a BSOD yesterday On my ASUS A8N-E wihich is a NF4 Ultra board with one Video card a 6800 GS. Upon restart it said it had a problem with my SLI and was going to default to a single GPU... What's up with that ...I have never had SLI. Oh well It is working fine now. BadDriver 06-28-2006, 07:48 PM Pandaz, man anything can happen when jacking with drivers and BSODs are even harder to pinpoint. Did you check the event manager? Sometimes that will give you a clue as to what happened and sometimes it will leave you scratching your head. Anyway, the 6.6 Cats suck for my crossfire rig and I even tried a new install. That didn't work so I used ghost and brought my machine back. Sometimes PC gaming is more bother than it is worth bro. :D BlackTruckRyder 07-02-2006, 01:47 PM Have you tried to disable (Ati Hotkey Poller and Ati Smart) with services.msc. I read somewhere that it helps some people to disable those two items. :t SysOpt.com
