I like the concept that I can create my own characters and play with them but lately I'm beging to reliaze that maybe RPGs isnt for me because I consantly find myself rerolling a new characters. Never geting far into the game because I end up geting bored of the game playing the newbie zone repeatly :-\

Game I've bought but havent beaten..
WoW
Oblivion
Morrowind
IWD 2
BG: TOSC
BG2
NWN

The only RPG I recall beating was..

Diablo
Diablo 2
Dungeon Seige

Yes you should stop. You're a failure at life and everyone knows it.

All kidding aside, I wouldn't give up if I were you. I'm exactly the same way with most RPG's unless I truly get hooked and want to keep going. A good way to overcome your problem is to sit down and set a goal for yourself. It can be a level, an ability, or some sort of object you wish to obtain. Don't set it too high, because if you do, you will not want to finish because it is so far out there. Instead, try and set a goal that will be attainable in less than 2 days if you really try to get it. Whenever I did this, it kept me busy because I always knew there was a reward for my efforts, and with a very large string of quests and rewards for my quests, I was never bored.

I will admit that I got frustrated every once in a while, but all I had to do was get out of the game for a couple of hours, and then I could go back and finish the quest. Tell me if this technique works for you. :t

LOL :r

that's nothing dude, don;t give up,
just go back to it whenever you have time
i also have all those games and more, and most of them i've only touched them when it was new, just to check out the cool Graphics, after that, the "sensation" worn off, and haven't touch those games since then

but eventually when i find the time, and nothing else better to do, i'll go back to those games and finish them all

i do however have a very long list of games that i've finished completely on my own without using cheat or walkthroughs... but that was many years ago, before the internet time LOL :D

now in days if i just want to play the game for the "cinematics" per say, i'll just use any walkthrough i find

i usually don't use cheat, unless the game is impossible hard :p

Keep this in mind: Games should be FUN, not boring and stressing you out more than you are already from a long day of work. ;)

:t

If you are playing MMORPG... also ignore all the stupid people, and play it as any RPG have some fun, do crazy stuff like PKing some idiots that is pissing you off

I'm having problems getting through AOE 3 (Ottoman Fort )..., but yeah.. you should just give them up and take up golf. LOL

Overall, myself, i enjoy playing RTG's..but you should remember that they are very time consuming... I get madf quite often when i do well then suddenly..as typ. , the game maker throws in some unbeatable scenario..and I usually just quite and tend to forget about playing the game again for a long while. It also helps to lay off and come back later. Again, often times i end up with new ideas and determination and beat the level or point i was having trouble with.

A game should be hard .., but not so hard as to squelch others with lesser exp. That is why they make games on difficulty levels..

Good thing for me that the only board type games i've beaten are those like WarHammer or GC2. They are much diff. tehn true RPG's..though.

Still, not into online games at all for pay..,regaredless... but Oblivion seems to be the thing now...as was WOW and I guess thier the best of the lot..
