This game is great. :D CrazyCrusher 06-23-2006, 02:22 AM For sure, one of the best ones I have played in a long time, the demo to was fantastic alone, not to short at all, the graphics are outstanding the game runs so smooth on my system from what I played the AI seems pretty smart, no HL2 choppy chop or F.E.A.R stop n go, the game kinda makes ur head go a lil funny, you get the feeling of LOST going through the protals, its a really strange feeling. but none the less the game is awesome. Ill be getting it, but for the 360 sorry gota have it on the big screen :) MJCfromCT 06-23-2006, 01:27 PM I'll def. be checking this game out when I build my new rig. :) Rabbitrunner51 06-25-2006, 07:52 PM Mixed feelings for me... Another dark game... use of lighter to see..thats novel... I like the creative openings and what i've seen so far... but i do get tired of games that ruin your eyes. I just played up to a point of not knowing where to go next..but its more of a case of seeing where i'm going?? Have to adjust the gamma and brightness levels up alot to help ) Graphics look OK ( probably better than waht you can see ) ... and kind of Doom like in spots. Game runs fluid on a medium system and i like the menus and adjust for diff. systems we all have... That is nice and user friendly. I'll play some more of this demo later ( late at night..lol ) , and see if it gets much better or how i feel after the whole thing is over.. Bigjakkstaffa 06-29-2006, 04:10 PM Some fairly innovative stuff in it, but again we're stuck in a world of metallic corridors and slimy substances - call me jaded, but if Duke 3D could offer a new environment in nearly every different level, why are games devs today still cramming Doom 3 Level design down our neck. Hopefully with ET:QW we'll get to see the D3 engine strut its stuff in some more varied environments. With that said, kudos to the boys and girls at 3DRealms, they seem to have squeezed a lot out of the D3 engine performance wise without jeapordising visual quality, and liek i said, some really innovative stuff in there - just not quite innovative enough for me to start raving just yet --Jakk JediOfDarkness 07-07-2006, 10:43 PM I give this game a 10/10, the graphics are amazing (though personally I think the models could look a little less like Doom 3 models), the physics are insain, and from what I've played on the demo the gameplay is outstanding. I can't wait for this game. Definantly has to get nominated for Game Of The Year. The thing I loved most about it is that the first time you go on one of those physics stair type things it makes you a little sick to your stomach, just like the main character does :) I can't wait to try this game out online... Bigjakkstaffa 07-08-2006, 08:16 AM I've got the full version, but i'm out all day so wont get to play it until tonight. What im hearing back from the community though is that its a great game, but ruined by being on the extremely short side length wise - seems on average it sonly takign people aboput 4-6 hours to get through tops, which is low, even by todays standards --Jakk:t CrazyCrusher 07-08-2006, 11:07 AM but ruined by being on the extremely short side length wise - seems on average it sonly takign people aboput 4-6 hours to get through tops, which is low, even by todays standards --Jakk:t Gezz thats pretty short, if thats true, I dont think its going to be worth the money. I mean are theyy playing it on super easy. Ill have to check into that. JediOfDarkness 07-08-2006, 02:24 PM Wow, yeah that is short... but supposedly it's suppose to have really good multiplayer, so that might be what saves it. RamonGTP 07-08-2006, 07:48 PM Played the demo and liked it... Ran great at maxed settings on both my gaming rigs. One with a 1900XTX and the other with a 7600GT. CrazyCrusher 07-12-2006, 01:33 PM any one play the full game yet? Im up in the air about getting it due to the time it takes to beat the game. RamonGTP 07-12-2006, 05:56 PM I got it yesterday and played it for a couple hours... Have not beat it yet so I can't speak as to the length of the game. SysOpt.com
