I have a old 486 pentium computer I have been using, and recently bought a new computer from a buddy.(hp pavilion 4440).MY problem is when I tried loading my program I use to sale cars ,etc,it will not load, the program is pc-dos 6.1 for IBM.I even tried hooking up the hard drive that the program is on,that drive is a Quantum 127mb prodrive els.I plugged in the power and ide wiring and booted up with the hp pavilion as the master and the computer said can't find operating system. When that failed I tried to partition my new hd and did ,but when I tried loading it ,error came up and said that the program could not be loaded, that the primary was full or used .HELP,HELP,HELP,i NEED THIS PROGRAM pc-dos 6.1 from the floppy disk they are on to the new hd or hook up my old one that has it on it,but I don't know how....

When you set up the primary drive as master, did you set the secondary drive (Quantum 127) as slave? If that didn't work, try using the "cable select" option.

After partitioning the HDD, you formatted it, didn't you?
