trying to retrive my mozilla firefox bookmarks off me old machine and for the life of me can't figure out where mozilla stores them at.... :(

Did you look in:

c:\documents and settings\"user name"\favorites

that's where my IE bookmarks were.... but not the firefox ones :confused:

thanks Fancy..I ended up doing this a different way. I exported them to my thumbdrive and then imported them into my IE..now I have all me bookmarks....next question is how can I be so smart and so stoopid at the same time??? :x

you can just run the export feature from bookmarks manager.

I never saw the export feature in Firefox bookmark manager before. I only saw the import feature in the Firefox browser.

I've been using this extention since FF v.06 , when my profile corrupted and my Bookmarks disappeared , several times mind you. . Simple and easy to use , and allows for custom store locations and other settings . :t
