I just installed visual basic.net the other day and tonight I was setting some odbc settings and it wouldn't let me so I figured it was a permission error and checked my account. I went from administrator to guest and when I try to log in as administrator it won't let me, I never set up the account or the password so now I cannot log in and change my level!!!! It doesn't give me the option of viewing any other accounts so I can't even see if their are other account that I can log in as and try to fix this mess. I am the only user of this computer, it's mine, I did a clean install just a few months ago so this really ticks me off! Any help is tremendously appreciated!

OK, I fixed it!

Here's what I had to do. I had to boot to safe mode as my account, fast user switch to administrator, it actually let me in, then when I couldn't find my account under users in the control panel, I had to go to the run box and type control userpasswords2 to bring up that box, check the users must log in box, select my account, change my priviledge back to it's original setting then enter unselect the password box, restart and finally al set!

Whew, I'm glad that was easy!
