Hi, I have a "simple"? question I have 128 megs ram, i do a lot of gaming... unreal ut, quake 3, quakeII etc. should i let windows manage my memory or should i set a permanent swapfile? If so how much min. and max?

Pantion 12-03-1999, 02:39 PM using a fixed swap file will reduce fragmentation and windows hassle of "supposly" reducing and increasing the swap file according to apps demands. As a common rule for a swap file is: Physical RAM x2.5 or Physical RAM x3 and set the minimal and max the same value so it stays the same size. SysOpt.com
