Hi

Is it possible to password protect a folder on a hard drive?

In other words to open to copy, transfer, or copy any file on that folder.....you need to provide a password.

Thanks!

that's what ntfs permissions are for. you wouldn't need passwords for each and every folder. you just set permissions to certain folders and the system uses your login to verify if you have access or not.
