hello all

i've just got a new computer, P4D 3.0G, 1GB Ram, windows XP pro.
problam is, that after installing some stuff ( office, skype, msn messenger, games ... ) for some reason , when i shut down the computer and then turn it back on, it reaches the "black" window loading screen (where u see the blue bar running), and after that, it just goes blank ( not reaching the blue "loading your personal settings..." screen ). only after i press the reset button, and load in safe mode, and shut down ( with the button of the case ) from safe mode, i turn the computer back on again and it loads ok.
i tried "registry mechanic" that showed me it fixed all the problems it found and no go ! i have to do that routine everytime to load up my windows.

can someone please help me ?

thanks in advance.

Sounds like you got hit with a virus/trojan. We demanded that all users remove SkyPE at work because of problems.

I would format the drive and use the recovery disks to reload the OS then limit the amount of junk you install after.
