screen saver is p?**&%g me off

a friend has this Dell with a cool screen saver of golf courses. but on the screen saver tab, it says "none". it cannot be changed. the time limit cannot be changed. we would delete it, but we like it. what gives?

Sounds like you tripped upon a registry error on that system.

Get the specific name of the screen-saver file if you can, then search for it in the registry and remove it.

Or you could just go through and remove every *.scr file on the system and you're bound to get it. That might leave you with a reg error, however.
