Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Did I blow my monitor??? zillion 05-21-2006, 01:16 AM Hey... trying out my new Panasonic 900U HD projector with my Dell 1998 box monitor and messing around with aspect ratio, refresh rates and resolutions... now my Dell monitor is bright red on startup, etc. and I can't seem to change it... did I mess up my monitor by switching to 85 herts refresh, etc? zillion 05-21-2006, 12:54 PM Nevermind... just a silly conflict of having two DVI outputs with adapters and the DVI ports are too close together so the adaptors (one VGA and one HDMI) "fight" for elbow room... My main Dell monitor was not plugged in ALL the way so the colors were messed up. SysOpt.com
