CPU Unworkable

Every time to set my Soft Menu II in CMOS setup on my Abit BX6 V1.2 to Intel Pentium II 350 and exit using f10, my monitor shuts down but my computer stays on. I have to manually shut down the computer and when I restart, a screen message says that my CPU is Unwworkable or has been changed. This happens every time I try to reset my CPU speed to my correct 350 Mhz speed. Please assist.
