Two computers....one phoneline

Right now I have to computers in my house and we have only one phoneline for both comps. How can I get both comps to have internet connection at the same time? I think you can do this by networking, but it would be cheaper just to get another phonline. Someone told me that there is software that will let me do this. Is this true? Where can I get it from and what is its name? Thanks Alot!

well, for one thing, networking them would be cheaper than another phone line after a few months. i dont know what the costs are where you live, but by me it is 20 bucks extra a month for a second phone line. a few months of that and you could have paid for your small network.

what OS are you using? cuz win98 second edition comes with an internet sharing utility that is very easy to setup and lets both of your comps to share one inet account.
