I just installed f.e.a.r. and updated it with the latest patch (1.4). I borrowed the game to my friend thinking I could just download a no-cd crack. Now I find out that there is no crack for 1.4 yet, only 1.3 can be played without the cd. So I was wondering : is there any way to downgrade my game back to 1.3?

ok, let me rephrase the question:
Is it possible to "downgrade" from a game's patched files to the un-patched files?
