Here's and exert from the manual of a prog that some of you will probably find interesting:
"Normally when you press the "Delete" key the files disappear from your Windows but their physical data remains on your hard drive available to snoops, law-enforcement, police, and others.
Even files and Internet Searches you have made which you thought you never "saved to disk" can be recorded as permanent evidence on your hard drive.
Having run Evidence Eliminator to completely destroy all traces of the data, you would obviously be completely innocent of intending to keep anything you might have accidentally downloaded and then deleted."

Who says I'm paranoid?!
All I do is use a different proxy every day, a firewall, send mail only through secure, anonymous re-mailer and only use my cable acc to watch films; I back up my files 3x a week, format and create partitions on different physical sectors of hds every time and reinstall 3 different OSys (that I use randomly) at least once a month. Oh, almost forgot--I use EE, and verify it w/ Encase everyday.

I've used the demo Encase - it's pretty revealing - I can imagine what the full version does.

I defrag once a week, it moves around everything, cleans you up mostly. It is not paranoya if they realy are after you!!! It is paranoya if it is irrational, but nowadays, that is never! Close your tinted windows, the satalites cqan see you! The cameras in the walls! Every tv has a video camera in it that sends out what you are doing to the government!
