I just bought a M726MRT board
Celeron 400
32 Mb 100
AGP 1x video

I can't get the monitor to sho anything.
I have the following questions:
1) the memory module was extremely hard to fit into the DIMM. I had to really press hard!
2) Can I use my AGP 1x with the mobo (AGP2x)
3) when i turn the pc on a beeping sounds comes up (about 6 beeps, silence, 3 beeps)
4) I have set the jumper speed to 6x since celeron system speedi is 66, 66x6=396mhz)

I don't know mobo beep codes, but I believe they usually indicate a memory or video problem. Are both of those seated correctly? Is there a way that you could swap out either to see if that is the problem?

Take you memory out and try it in a different slot. Be sure it is seated properly. Remove an reinstall your processor also make sure it is seated properly. I hope this will help.

Thank you guys,

the problme was the AGP video card. The old case did not allow me to press it all the way in.
