Hi, I have a p150 2.1gb h/d 80mbram and after a recent reinstall (refresh not a complete reinstall) I found my HP 5100c scanner didn't want to work so I've reinstalled and uninstalled it about a 6/8 times but when trying to go to copy utility I still I get a 'failure to communicate with scanner, be sure scanner is on and properly connected (1215)'while doing a complete uninstall I have even been to sysedit and found a mention of the scanner in the 'windows\win.ini' which I rem out. I have followed the H&P instructions and disconnected the scanner while reinstalling but I still get the 1215 error.I now have it so the scanjet & the SCSI EPST Parallel SCSI adapter doesn't show as a conflict in device manager, But still the 1215 ???
