I just recieved the geforce7900gt (sweet!) and I was wondering...
For the extra power doggle thing, should both plugs be plugged in to my power supply, or only one?

if you mean the 6 pin PCIE, you need BOTH. your PSU doesn't have the 6 pin connector?
you are supposed to use 2 different molex lines, not just 2 connectors on the same line.

http://www.directron.com/6pinpcie.html (I got this with my card)
So do I just plug in 2 regular 4-pin power supply connectors?

some PCI-E cards have a 6 pin plug on it. it has dual 12v lines.

yes, you plug in 2 4 pin molex FROM DIFFERENT LINES. this should have been in the documentation.

yep, mine is 6 pin. So, you said the two connectors coming from my power supply had to be 2 diffrent lines? Will performance be affected if I plug it into a line with some cathodes and fans on it?

fans are pretty minor. you could try to put both molex from the same line, but that's putting double draw on a single 12v. you might run into problems under heavy load, so it's recommended that you use 2 different lines from the psu.
better yet, get a psu with a 6 pin PCIe connector built-in.
