Hi Folks,
Been losing sleep trying to update my Award Bios. Here's the skinny...
Wim's Bios Page tells me to do the following when I get an insufficient memory error while trying to flash.
1. In CMOS Chipset Features Setup, Disable Video Bios Cacheable.
2. Hit Esc,F10,Save and exit.
3. Reboot and hit Ctrl+F5,when you see "Windows Starting" (This temporarily prevents Drvspace.bin
from loading-making 108K more Memory available.)
4. Flash the BIOS and reboot
5. Enter CMOS Chipset Features Setup, and Enable Video Bios Cacheable, hit Esc,F10,Save and reboot.
I can disable the Video Bios Cache but I have EZBIOS installed so that when I have to hit CONTRL+F5 it opens an EZBIOS window because I've hit the darned CONTROL key. Now, I'm at a loss as to how to keep DRVSPACE.bin from loading.
Any ideas?
Mark
