Have you done a safe mode boot, device manager, and look under each device? If you see duplicate entries and hardware listed there that is no longer installed, delete them and reboot. If you have duplicate entries, delete BOTH of them.

Anybody have any tips on a machine that freezes up often on bootup? Its a p3-450, bh6, tried a few vid cards, tried a few different nics... Doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes i have to reboot multiple times before it boots to windows. But once it boots, it runs fine and stable. i've tried all sorts of stuff, flashing the bios,...
