help with v3 3000

my freind just got a v3 3000, and when we try to switch it to the mode to allow it to produce tvout, it will not let us, the screen looks like a upc code (giant one) then switches back to normaland will not let us use tv/s-video outwhat are we missing here, btw its on a "powerspec" cpu with a p2 350, and a v2 2000 that is in there now works flawlessly

I've had a similar problem with a different video board and adapter - perhaps this will help out -

1) change the screen resolution - especially if you have it cranked up really high.

2) change the refresh rate of your monitor out-put. if you have it set to a refresh of 83 HZ, try 72, or 60 and see if that improves things for you.

Both settings will be under display in control panel ( i think )
